We are awash with How To‘s, and Best Way to Achieve posts. All we end up feeling is overwhelmed and paralyzed by the weight of information.
This overwhelm often leads to our huge goal “to get healthy” moving further down the to-do list.
Eventually we feel like something is wrong with us because everyone else seems to be able to do it.
Information isn’t the issue. Putting it into action in a personal context is.
This is where health coaching comes in.
I help you sift through the noise of this information to discover what works specifically for you.
We all have different bodies, health profiles, life situations and resources. So our approach needs to meet you where you are at. We will create your path one step at a time.
As a PreKure Certified Health Coach, I work with lifestyle medicine. This provides a whole-system approach to the prevention and reversal of chronic and lifestyle-related diseases. I work with you to bring clarity and insight. We work on what motivates and inspires you and collaborate on creating long-term, sustainable behaviour change, that leads to better health outcomes.
Lifestyle medicine aligns with humans living more in tune with how we naturally evolved to live. The pillars of lifestyle medicine that I work with are:

- Mental wellbeing
Good Health is so much more than just diet and exercise. To me, it’s about getting the most out of life, finding what lights you up and daring to go for what’s important to you.

How health coaching works
Currently, I coach clients 1 on 1, online. This works well for efficiency, and privacy.
The first session is called a discovery call and is a no-commitment free session. It can be between 30 – 45 minutes. This way we can both work out if we are suited to work together.
This is where we dig into your goals, how motivation works for you best and what some of your core values are. These are useful levers for us to be aware of, in order to create the desired behaviour change. And, if time allows, we start to collaborate on ways you can begin to put things into action.
From there, we work out the length of time you would like to work together. I offer 6-week coaching, or 3-month coaching time frames. As well as our regular coaching sessions, which can be up to 1 hour, I offer accountability support throughout the week, resources, and information that may be relevant to your goals.
My scope of practice as a health coach is Present-Future-Focused. This means I hold space in a curious and non-judgemental way, that builds your awareness of where you’re at, and we can brainstorm on how to get you moving towards your future vision. I may offer tools and knowledge on nutrition, exercise and lifestyle habits if you require, and I empower you to grow your own understanding of what your health needs are.
We work with what you have access to, what you have the means for and what motivates you. This is where we get creative. Whatever goals and action plans you set for yourself out of our discussions, will inspire you to consistently show up for yourself in a way that is meaningful for you.
Health Coaching uses the science of positive psychology, so we lean into your strengths, celebrate every win, and get you to open your mind to what’s possible. From this positive mindset, we are able to tackle your obstacles, one at a time. I encourage and support you to make changes in the way you want.
We work on incremental steps, focusing on one habit at a time, or behavioural pattern. We want to gently push into your discomfort zone, without overwhelming you.
I hold you accountable for action plans that you set for yourself and I coach you to be self-compassionate in your efforts.
I champion you on every success and encourage you to see how far you have come, so you walk away feeling empowered, knowing deep down that you can do hard things.

Six Week 1:1 Coaching
Six one-on-one coaching sessions.
$450 (or $75 per session)
Ideal for a reset, and general wellbeing enhancer, or to get you started on your health journey.
We will align your values and motivations, identify current habit patterns and build and implement your action plan to future you.
In addition to coaching, I provide resources, email, and text support, and accountability follow-up.
Three Month 1:1 Coaching
Over three months one-on-one coaching sessions.
$750 (or $250 per month)
Ideal for embedding long-term, sustainable healthy habits. Exploring possibilities and problem-solving around familiar obstacles.
We will align your values and motivations, identify current habit patterns and build and implement your action plan to future you.
In addition to coaching, I provide resources, email, and text support, and accountability follow-up.
